Creating art, for me, reflects memories. The art becomes a physical representation of my emotions, my thoughts, my trials, and my successes. My art reflects who I was and who I am now. My hand translates my soul.

 

“Legacy” gives me and the viewer a chance to reflect on who we are now and how we want to be remembered.  Each viewer must answer, “What is the value of my moment?” 

 

I am a teaching artist with over 20 years of experience. Diverse institutions own my work with two pieces in the permanent collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
