Gloria Cooper

From an early age I knew I wanted to be an artist.  I work in mixed media, painting and collage.  I am inspired by natural elements and many of my artworks include trees.  I have also studied English and Hebrew calligraphy.  Some of my work incoporates these influences.  One recent piece was done on a round handmade paper. “Dreams” includes both trees and calligraphy. I calligraphed Psalm 133 in Hebrew and English.  The Psalm speaks of the hope that people can dwell together in peace and unity.  I have completed commissions for corporate as well as private individuals.  My work is included in the Judaica collection at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.  www.gloriacooperart.com
