Angela Heida

I am a high school art teacher by day, and a ceramic artist by night. In my first project with this group, I made individual teacups for the members after personally interviewing them about what “fills their cup”. It was an amazing way to get to know these talented women. For another piece related to struggle, I sculpted a pierced figure with a hole running through it.  I was compelled to create an artwork communicating how even in loss there is hope because of my Christian faith. My work has been in group shows at local venues including the Phipps Center for the Arts and the Northern Clay Center. I am also a member of the Minnesota Women Ceramic Artists.   Googling “Heida Ceramics”  will lead to my website or follow me on Instagram (heida_ang).
